About Us

The North County San Diego Teen Group is dedicated to nurturing future African-American leaders by strengthening youth through leadership development, volunteer service, legislative advocacy, mentorship and philanthropic giving.

This year the Teen Group will focus on engaging in monthly activities that provide cultural, social, civic and recreational activities that stimulate and expand the mind to enhance life and develop future leaders. We look forward to completing the Jacqueline Moore Bowles Leadership Modules which were developed to allow us to take responsibility for developing the skills necessary to become America’s future leaders. Our Teen Group is also very actively engaged and committed to serving within the North County San Diego area and we will support and commit service hours to local programs.

This year we are proud to welcome 12 teens, led by our Co-Teen Advisors Lashawn McDaniel and Blair Strother, and Teen President Chloe Davis. Our Teen Executive Board is excited to embark up on a productive, fun, and engaging year!
